USEA Intercollegiate & Interscholastic Committee Liaison Applications

The USEA Intercollegiate and Interscholastic committees are looking to identify an individual in each Area to serve as the volunteer Intercollegiate & Interscholastic Eventing League (IEL) Liaison. The Intercollegiate & IEL Liaison would serve under our Young Rider Coordinator to assist with growing and managing the Intercollegiate and IEL programs in Area II.

The Intercollegiate Eventing Program (undergrad college students) and the IEL (5th-12th graders) are expanding across the country, and as they have grown, the need has arisen for a leader in each Area to spearhead participation for members and Event Organizers. The following list of tasks are likely to fall within the liaisons purview:

  • Assist with and answer questions about the Intercollegiate and IEL application process

  • Outreach to local organizers to grow Team Challenge offerings in the Area

  • Support Team Challenge organizers as they prepare to host (including, but not limited to, contacting local teams and clubs to participate, collecting team rosters, helping with promotion, etc.)

  • Managing scoring input for Team Challenges

If you, or someone you know, are interested, please fill out the attached application form and return it to me at lizb18@gmail.com. We will be accepting applications through August 8th.

We look forward to adding this position to our Council!
